The sculpture entitled, “Two in the Hand”, by Chicago artist Michael Young will be installed at the Urbana Park District’s Wandell Sculpture Garden on Wednesday, October 11. The aluminum piece previously has been displayed at both the Chicago Sculpture Exhibit and the Art on Clark show. Installation will begin at approximately 10:30 a.m.

Young describes his work as abstract.

“Forms are open to interpretation and swoop of aluminum or reflecting ray of sun can impart many meanings,” he explained in an artist statement.

Another of Young's works--"Water"--is located outside the Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center.
