Visitors to Meadowbrook Park and the Wandell Sculpture Garden can view two new sculptures prominently displayed.

Magic by Chicago artist John Adduci greets visitors on the east path of Meadowbrook Park, just to the south of the playground. The work has been displayed in Chicago, the Quad Cities, Bridgeport and Kenosha, WI.

Pictograph by Chicago artist Michael Young, most recently was displayed in Chicago. The two-piece work is made of aluminum and rests on a granite surface. It required a delicate installation, and you can see it in this video. Pictograph is located along Windsor Road at the northwest corner of Wandell Sculpture Garden. It is easily seen from the road. 

"We are excited to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Wandell Sculpture Garden by adding these two new sculptures to Meadowbrook Park," said Tim Bartlett, Executive Director at Urbana Park District. "We invite the public to come to the park and see these new works, and enjoy public art in a natural setting," he concluded.
