Lap Lanes
We alternate set up between 25 yard and 25 meter lap lanes during lap swim. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday it is 25 yards. Tuesday and Thursday we switch to 25 meters. During public swim time, lanes are always set up in 25 yards.

The Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center has something for everyone--from the dedicated lap swimmer or water exerciser to the family who wants to play together. You can even have your birthday party here. We’re open daily—so come and swim any day of the week. The Urbana Park District is proud and grateful to have access to such an exciting facility. Take advantage of this great community pool—and bring a friend!

A Partnership within Urbana
The Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center is a partnership between the Urbana Park District and the Urbana School District. The facility is used for middle and high school PE programs every fall and winter. The UHS swim team holds practices and meets at the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center.

Public Swim and Much More
This indoor facility is busy year-round. Not only with Urbana School and Park District activities, but other organizations rent time in the pool for their own programs. These include: The Champaign County HEAT Swim Team, SCUBA lessons, and more. Lockers are provided during open swim. Please bring your own lock to securely store your items while enjoying the facility.

Swim Lessons
The Urbana Park District teaches swim lessons at this facility year-round. Check the Leisure Guide for a complete listing of lessons for children age 3 and up, as well as classes where parents and infants or toddlers can have fun in the water together.

UIAC Rental Information
POOL RENTALS All rentals include the use of the party room and swimming. An additional $75 damage deposit is due at time of request. Call 367-1544 for information about reserving your party. Fifteen minutes of set-up and clean-up is included in the 2 hour time block. Your party may not enter until the starting time. The party room must be cleaned up and all attendees must exit by your scheduled ending time. Due to popularity, please reserve your party at least three weeks in advance.

Party Package
There is a special party room waiting for you at the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center. Swim and use the room for a 2 hour time slot during public swim hours. When calling for reservations, ask about our discount for supervising adults. On the day of the party, please provide the pool cashier with a list of names of children that will be participating. 1-15 participants $125, $6 for each additional guest

Private Rentals Rent the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center before or after public hours for your own private facility rental (minimum of two hours)! Includes unlimited swimming, party area and use of facility. Lifeguards will be provided. An additional $75 damage deposit is due at the time of request.
