Introduction to Tango for Couples Introduction to Tango for Couples Ages: 18+ When: 2013-06-03 - 2013-07-01 (M) , 8:15 PM - 9:15 PM Where: Phillips Recreation Center Cost: $88R/$132NR Activities: Bring your special partner or a good friend with whom you want to learn tango. You'll work with the same partner throughout the course. This class is ideal for couples preparing to dance at their wedding. It is similar to the Foundations of Tango Course, but focuses more on developing a partnership in tango. Individual couples will be permitted to progress at a faster or slower pace as it suits them. Each course is limited to 10 couples. No experience is needed. Jonathan Sivier leads these fun, social and low-impact dances that provide good exercise for the mind and body. Examples can be seen in the various movie adaptations of Jane Austen’s books.
