Urbana Park District part of Boneyard Festival

The annual Boneyard Arts Festival, coming April 10 and 11 to Urbana, encompasses many art forms. The Urbana Park District is participating with art in three locations.

Friday, 8-11pm (7:30pm new dancer orientation)
Phillips Recreation Center | 505 W. Stoughton
Join the Urbana Country Dancers for FUN, energetic dances with live music from Got Your Back Stringband (David Soucek, Jason Robinson, Brenda Koenig & Corbin Phillips) on a beautiful sprung-wood floor.

Saturday, 10am-4pm
Urbana Park District Meadowbrook Park Interpretive Center | 2810 S. Race
(use the Race Street parking lot)
Pat McDonald, sculptor of “Diamonds Are Forever” and “Open” in the Wandell Sculpture Garden at Meadowbrook Park, will provide an exhibit entitled “Birth of a Sculpture.”

Saturday, 1-3pm - Meet the artist
Anita Purves Nature Center | 1505 N. Broadway
Explore ways to see ourselves in nature and meet photographer, Gail Snowdon. Images in images, both subtle and obvious, is the subject of this body of work entitled Nature’s Body.
