Adults who never learned to swim, or want to learn more about swimming have the chance to sign up for swimming lessons just for them this fall.

Urbana Park District is offering swim lessons for adults Sundays from November 7 to December 5 at Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center. 

The Beginner class is Sundays from 5 - 6 p.m. The Intermediate class is Sundays from 6 - 7 p.m.

The Beginner class is for adults who want to build confidence or overcome fear. Once comfortable, students will learn front and back floats as well as beginning swim strokes. 

The Intermediate class is for adults who want to make progress in the four basic swim strokes, endurance, distance and technique.

Register by October 24 and get a special discount - $37 dollars for residents for the Beginning class and $42 for residents for the Intermediate class.
