The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
Urbana Park District invites people age 18 and older to sign up for a book club geared especially for millennials.
Now that the area is in Tier One of covid-19 safety protocols, the Anita Purves Nature Center will open for free guided tours beginning January 25.
With health officials moving our region into Tier One, of the “Restore Illinois” covid-19 protocol, Urbana Park District will begin opening its buildings and will begin in-person programming.
“We can’t wait until we could see all of you in person,” said Janet Soesbe, Community Program Manager. “But our program staff are running such creative virtual programs; we’re glad can still see each other online.”
Kids can learn how to make videos this winter in the Kids YouTube Club. It’s a free after-school club put on by Urbana Park District, via a virtual Zoom meeting
Anita Purves Nature Center is offering a Zoom with the Animals Birthday Party programs, in lieu of in person parties during the covid-19 pandemic.
