UIAC is a partnership between the Urbana School District and the Urbana Park District. It is open to everyone during public swim time (see schedule below) with a paid admission or punch card membership card. During public swim, the water spray toys, and water slides are turned on.

Lap swim times are for individuals aged 15 and up who wish to swim for exercise. Attend Urbana Park District water exercise classes by registering and paying for a specific program. The UIAC is also home to the Urbana Park District swim lesson program and PE programs. Local swim team practices and meets special events, birthday parties, and private rentals are also held here.

PARKING AT URBANA INDOOR AQUATIC CENTER
The designated spaces for parking at the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center are lined in BLUE. Any person who parks in spots that are not lined in blue may be towed. The other spaces in this parking lot are reserved for Urbana School District Employees. If you have any questions about where you should park, please see a Shift Manager at the facility.

$3 spectator fee
There is a minimum entrance fee of $3 for all who enter the facility.

$6 per person (under 4 years FREE)

Purchase a punch card as a way to try the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center before committing to buying a pass. Or give one to family or friends from out of town. Take advantage of this alternative that saves you money each visit.

SWIM LESSONS

Early registration is encouraged. A waitlist may be started for programs that fill quickly. The deadline is one week before the session begins. Instructors and supervisors evaluate participants to place them in the appropriate level. New participants will be tested and placed in the proper class. Please call the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center at 217-384-7665 to register.

PARTIES/RENTALS

There is a special party room waiting for you at the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center when you have your party here! Swim and use the room for a two-hour time slot is included. A $100 damage deposit is due at the time of your rental request. On the day of the party rental, please provide the front desk staff with a list of guests that will be participating in the rental.

When you rent the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center before or after public hours it includes swimming, party area, and use of the facility. Lifeguards will be provided. An additional $100 damage deposit is due at the time of the rental request.

Once you complete your paperwork and pay the deposit fee, the staff will review your request. Your party rental IS NOT APPROVED until confirmed by email or phone call from the Aquatics Coordinator. Download a rental packet here.

The party room must be cleaned up and all attendees must exit the room by your scheduled ending time. Due to popularity, please reserve your rental at least two weeks in advance.
