3 v. 3 Basketball Tournament
Grades 6-12- All Teens Welcome
Friday, May 19 at the Phillips Recreation Center (505 W. Stoughton, Urbana)
Team registration begins at 3:45pm on the day of the event (must be in line to register by 4:30pm to enter the bracket- no preregistration required)
First game starts at 4:30pm.
Games will be played until the brackets are complete or until dark.
Boys & Girls Brackets (High School & Middle School will be separate brackets). Players are welcome to join the bracket that best aligns with their gender identity.
Come ready with a team of 3-4 players, or sign up for a “pick-up” list to be assigned to a team.
- First 50 players to register will get a FREE basketball and bag!
- First 100 players to register will get a FREE t-shirt!
- All registered players will be entered to win PRIZES (basketballs, hats, sneaker backpacks, water bottles and more!)
- Food from Wood n Hog is available FREE for players and fans.
Food will be served starting at 5pm until supplies last. Fans, friends and family are welcome to watch and join the fun!

FRESH Crew Teen Nature Workdays
FRESH Crew is a nature work club for teens, grades 6 to 12. FRESH Crew meets once a month to remove invasive species, plant native plants, garden in community gardens, or harvest seeds. In addition, we host guest speakers, spend time in Urbana’s natural areas.
All are welcome! FRESH Crew helps members build connections with nature and their community, make new friends, and learn about the natural world. This program also provides hands-on experience for students interested in working in nature, such as at a National Park, in a research lab, or on a restoration crew.
