Join Clark-Lindsey and Health Alliance for another Age-Friendly celebration! This time around we’ll be focusing on occupational wellness, defined as: the ability to achieve a balance between work and leisure time, addressing workplace stress and building relationships with co-workers. However, factors such as retirement age, physical decline, and social isolation may make this wellness domain a bit tricky to balance later in life. But have no fear, we’re here to help! The event will start out with a showing of the movie “The Intern,” a hilarious movie that follows 70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) who seizes an opportunity to become a senior intern at an online fashion site. The movie showing will be followed by a Career and Opportunity Fair designed to meet the occupational wants and needs of those 55 and better. All ages welcome! To RSVP please call 217-239-5201.
