People age 50 and better who have dreams of writing that great novel or other work can get help at a free writer’s forum in November and December.

The Age-Friendly Writer’s Forum will be at Urbana Free Library on Tuesdays at Urbana Free Library.

The forum runs from 4:15 – 5:30 p.m.

“A writer’s forum is a quiet place to write and a respectful place to share with and assist fellow writers,” explained Jacob Johnston, Age-Friendly Resource Coordinator.

“People can bring their favorite writing device, be it paper or a screen and connect with people just as passionate about writing as they are,” Johnston added.

The forum is free and people do not need to register.

“We welcome any and all people age 50 and better to the writer’s forum at Urbana Free Library. It is a great time to share writing ideas and meet new friends,” Johnston said.
