It's Free Fitness Week.
“Free Fitness Week is a chance for people to try out our fitness classes to see if those classes are a good fit for them,” said Ashley Dennis, Outreach and Wellness Coordinator at Urbana Park District. “It’s also a chance for us to say ‘thank you’ to people who already take our classes.”
Please note that Tai Chi is not included in Free Fitness Week. Be sure to check out all the other fitness classes offered in our Program Guide.
The goal is simple. “Many people want to see what a fitness class is like before commit to joining. Free Fitness Week allows them to check out our classes without paying any money,” Dennis explained.
All are welcome to come out and try a fitness class during the week, see friends, make new friends and get fit!
