Enjoy a free wildflowers hike May 5 at Anita Purves Nature Center.

Woodland wildflowers are blooming, and the elusive fairy shrimp have been spotted in the vernal ponds at Busey Woods.

We will depart from the nature center at 2 p.m., for an exploratory nature hike in celebration of spring.

This hike is for all people of all ages (kids 15 and under need to be accompanied by an adult).

Dress for the weather, and wear shoes that can get muddy. Please, no strollers.
