Illinois American Water recently granted Urbana Park District $920 to help repair the Weaver Park Wetland.

ATV riders damaged the wetland during November, 2021. 

The grant will help the park district repair ruts, add native plants, restore habitat and increase plant diversity.

Remember, that it is illegal to ride motorized bikes and four-wheelers through park district parks and natural areas.
