The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is celebrating Park and Recreation Month all July.

Every park has a story. And, people make connections, memories and history in Urbana Park District parks. For many people, park district parks are their first contact with nature or they learn a life-long physical activity, sport or hobby.

During covid-19, Urbana Park District parks have been a place for people to exercise, get sunshine, fresh air, and heal their spirits.
