Kids aged 4 - 9 are invited to sign up for "Cooking up a Story" this spring at Urbana Park District.

The classes meet Mondays - March 18 through April 29 - from 4 - 5 p.m., at Phillips Recreation Center.

"Cooking up a Story" is fun for kids. They gain confidence on measuring, putting things together, food, and they eat what they make. For example, the instructor starts class with the story “The Popcorn Dragon” and the class starts to make caramel corn. They can eat that or plain popcorn. The instructor reads books to them and they will sing and play games and fill their time bonding, talking, learning and enjoying what they make.
