Legend has it that if you build a tiny house or garden outside, you might attract a fairy or a gnome! You can test that theory and build your own tiny house for free on May 20 at Meadowbrook Park, from 1 - 3 p.m. 

Using mostly natural items, we’ll create tiny homes for magical creatures. Come and go any time during the program hours – we’ll provide materials while supplies last, and you can explore the park to gather more.

While free, please register by May 18 so we know many supplies to have. Call (217) 367-1544 to register or online at urbanaparks.org/register.

This event is recommended for people ages 5 - 12. Enter the park off of Race Street and the event will be at the Meadowbrook Park Sensory Garden.
