Urbana Park District will close Blair Park Tennis Courts starting July 5, so workers can refurbish the courts.

Weather depending, the courts will be closed between two and three weeks. 

The north courts will get a complete blue and green overlay. The south courts will get crack repair and the same blue and green overlay. All court will get pickle ball lines.

Later in the fall and winter, a fencing contractor will be back to replace the galvanized fencing fabric around both sets of courts. 

During the project, the courts, including the Sutu Wall, will be closed.

The park district will let the public know when the courts are back open to the public in mid-July.
