If you happen to visit Meadowbrook Park this winter, be sure to check out new art.

Two new sculptures, Dream Traveler and Raptor, are now on display at the Wandell Sculpture Garden.

Artist Jaci Willis is loaning Dream Traveler to the park district. The work was on display in Chicago in 2020. Willis commented, “Dream Traveler relates to the subconscious and our journeys we make every night.”

Washington, Illinois, artist Fisher Stolz is loaning the Park District Raptor. He encourages you to look at the sculpture from several different angles. “While considering Raptor, I encourage you to keep a keen eye out for majestic beauty, and truth, while encouraging the ideals of justice, and soaring freedom for all,” he said.
