People can take advantage of a new multi-use path at Crystal Lake Park along Park Street.
“The path is open for people to use,” said Andy Rousseau, project manager. “The only things left to do along the path are items like a railing and landscaping.”
The final portions of work will be completed in early fall, during the more optimal time for planting. “The Contractor will wait until September to do the landscaping to ensure better establishment of the plants,” Rousseau explained.
The Park District is also allowing the Crystal Lake water level to rise since the construction project is nearing completion.
“We thank people for their patience as we continue to rehabilitate Crystal Lake Park,” Rousseau commented. “We hope everyone enjoys the new multi-use path.”
