Urbana Park District invites everyone to Meadowbrook Park to visit the sculpture Awake.

Artist Micki LeMieux is loaning Awake to the Wandell Sculpture Garden. The work is on the west side of the park, near the gardens and barn.

LeMieux has worked with the park district before, as her sculpture Idea of an Apple, is currently on display in Meadowbrook Park.

“We are fortunate to have artists willing to share their works with Urbana Park District,” said Timothy Bartlett, Executive Director. “We thank Ms. LeMieux for loaning us this sculpture and we hope people come to Wandell Sculpture Garden and enjoy this and the many other sculptures on display.”

The coming year promises to be an exciting time for Wandell Sculpture Garden. More exciting announcements are coming later in August.
