School has begun and Urbana Park District needs help with its after school program.

“We still need leaders for our after school programs,” said Matt Lewis, Community Program Coordinator at the park district. “We are looking for people with a passion to bring quality, fun programs to our after school kids in Urbana School District,” he added.

The after school program runs each Tuesday – Friday between 2:30 – 6 p.m. Hour may vary depending on day. SLPASH leaders assist in developing educational and recreational programs for after school students.

“We help students develop and strengthen academic, physical and social skills,” Lewis said.
