Urbana Park District, in cooperation with the Illinois Secretary of State, are giving people age 50 and better the chance to learn or get updated on rules of the road this fall.

The Rules of the Road workshop will be on September 2, from 10 a.m., to Noon at Phillips Recreation Center.

This is a free event.

“This is a great chance for people to polish their driving skills and keep up to date on the state’s traffic laws,” said Jacob Johnston, Community Program and Engagement Coordinator.

While free, people need to register so the park district knows how many people to expect. Call the park district at (217) 367-1544 to reserve a slot.

“Everyone age 50 and better is welcome to come to our Rules of the Road presentation. It’s a great way to stay up to date on traffic laws and driving skills,” Johnston concluded.
