Urbana Park District, in cooperation with the Illinois Secretary of State’s office, is offering a free Rules of the Road course for people age 50 and better.

The class will be online, via Zoom. The virtual sessions will be September 3 and December 3.

“This is a different format for the class, but people will get the same great information,” said Jacob Johnston, Age-Friendly Program Coordinator.

Seasoned drivers can polish their skills and keep on top of changing traffic laws.

The class is free, but people will need to register for the course, so they can get the proper online link to connect to the virtual class.

Call (217) 367-1544 to register. Register by September 2 and December 2, respectively.

“We hope many take advantage of this free program. There is plenty of room online and people belong at our Rules of the Road classes this fall,” Johnston said.
