The Urbana Park District, in partnership with Champaign County Camera Club, invites everyone to Lincoln Square Mall, February 9 -17, to view the 2019 Best in Show Photographic Print Competition.

The competition is for amateur photographers. Professionals judged the 390 entries.

The exhibit is on public display in the mall from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., except for Sunday the 17th when the photos are taken down for the Judges' Critique at Noon. The public is welcome to attend!

“We have some very talented photographers in Champaign County,” said Janet Soesbe, Community Program Manager at Urbana Park District.

The Park District and Camera Club awarded prizes in the following categories:

• Animals

• Architecture

• Black and White

• Club

• General

• Landscape

• Nature

• People

• Youth

“Each year, it is so difficult to pick the winners and this year was even more difficult,” Soesbe commented. “We hope that everyone comes to view the exhibit. Many of the photos are breath-taking,” she concluded.
