Do you know a kid in grades 1 – 12 that likes soccer? Are they sad that the outdoor soccer season is coming to an end? Never fear! Kids can still scratch their soccer itch this fall at Urbana Park District’s Co-Rec Indoor Soccer program.
“Kids learn skills through drills and play cross-court or full court games with indoor soccer balls and nets,” said Kyle Mills, Athletics Supervisor. He continued, “New and returning players can benefit from this program as they sharpen their skills and work as a team.”
The soccer sessions are broken up by grade and meet at Brookens Gym:
- Grades 1 – 6; Saturdays from October 16 to November 20
- Grades 7 – 12; Wednesdays from October 20 to December 1.
If people sign up by October 1, they will get a special early-bird discount - $24 for residents and $36 for non-residents.
