Learn Aikido at Urbana Park District this fall.

Barry Ackerson, PhD, a 5th degree black belt, conducts the classes. The beginner classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:45 - 6:45 p.m. and Saturdays from 2 - 3 p.m. The advanced classes are at the same day and time, but run a half hour longer. 

There are two sessions this fall. The first session begins August 31 and runs through October 16.

The second session begins October 19 and runs through December 9. If people register for the second beginner session by October 5, they get a special early bird discount of $63 for residents and $95 for non-residents.

All classes will be at Phillips Recreation Center.
