Urbana Park District invites people to sign up kids ages 4 – 6 for Sharkey’s Outdoor Soccer. The park district is also offering soccer programs for kids ages 8 -12 this spring.

“Our soccer programs teach kids teamwork, skills and rules,” said Kyle Mills, Athletics Supervisor. “Plus the games are a lot of fun and kids get a lot of exercise.”

People have until March 21 to sign kids up. They can register online or call Phillips Recreation Center at (217) 367-1544.

 “After a year’s worth of covid-19, be sure to sign kids up for soccer,” Mills said. He concluded, “Our soccer programs will comply with all covid-19 safety guidelines.”
