Urbana Park District reminds people that there is no ice skating allowed at Crystal Lake Park.

Please stay off the ice at all times - no matter how solid the ice looks.

Crystal Lake takes in water runoff. Water is always flowing through the lake and that makes ice thickness vary. What could be solid at one point could be thin only a few feet away.

Walking, skating or playing on the ice is never allowed. 

Enjoy the park, but please be safe!
