Summer is in the stretch run and Urbana Park District wants you to know that there is still time to get in some last splashes before the leaves turn color.
"Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center will stay open through Labor Day," said Leslie Radice, Aquatics Manager at the Park District. "We’ll be open from 12:30 – 8 p.m., weekdays and 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., on weekends."
Once school starts the lap swim pool will open for regular hours, but the rest of the pool will operate on "School’s in Session Hours" beginning August 20. Radice added, "People can come to the pool after school from 4 – 7 p.m., weekdays."
Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center has more special events planned through August:
- Member party, August 3
- Nonresident Day, August 4
- Adult Swim Night with movie Jaws, August 10
- Nonresident Day, August 15
- Movies at the Pool – Beauty and the Beast (2017), August 18
"We are still selling punch card passes and pool memberships," Radice said. "Memberships are on sale for half price which is a great value.
"Our season may be winding down, but there is still time to enjoy our beautiful outdoor pool. We hope to see you at the pool soon because you belong here," Radice concluded.
