Due to the cool, wet spring, the Urbana Park District T-Ball program will now start May 23 and run through July 14.

“Because of the later start, there is still time to sign up kids ages 5 – 7 for the T-Ball program,” said Kyle Mills, Athletics Supervisor. He added, “And, there is still some time to sign up for an early bird discount.”

Sign kids up by May 9 and residents will pay $28, and non-residents will pay $40. Register between May 10 – 16 and pay $35 for residents and $47 for non-residents.

Mills explained, “People can sign up for Monday/Wednesday practice and games, or they can sign up for Tuesday/Thursday practice and games.”

“T-Ball is great for kids to build confidence and baseball skills. Everyone is welcome to this program, regardless of ability,” Mills concluded.
