Urbana Park District hosts several sculptures and other works of art for people to enjoy. Now, they can take a virtual tour to find the location of the art and learn more about the pieces.

“We went to the parks, took high quality photos of the sculptures, and created an online tour of the art,” said Kara Dudek, Park Planner.

Each photo contains information about the work and a message from the artist. “The virtual tour also includes a map, so people can find the works of art easier,” Dudek added.

“This online tour is another way to bring art closer to the community. We hope people use this virtual tour whether they're at home or in the park. The tour can be viewed by computer, tablet or smart phone,” Dudek concluded.
