Join Urbana Park District on April 7, for a virtual public meeting to discuss the Meadowbrook Park Playground. The meeting will be on Zoom between 6 – 7 p.m.

The park district is currently planning to replace the current Meadowbrook Park playground, built in 1995.

The Urbana Park District is working with Upland Design Ltd., a firm which leads many destination playground and park planning processes in Illinois, engages communities, and understands industry trends and best practices. The master plan process will take 6-8 months with public input opportunities guided by both the consultant and park district staff.

The park district plans on building a new playground in 2023.
