You are invited to a virtual summer camp open house on May 11

You can find out more about this year's park district summer camps at a special virtual meeting on May 11.

Urbana Park District will offer several summer camps for kids of all ages and all camps will follow covid-19 safety guidelines.

The park district wants to inform adults and kids about how summer camps will look this year, in two virtual Zoom open houses on May 11.

The first open house on May 11 will be from Noon - 1 p.m. The second May 11 open house will be 6 - 7 p.m. Caregivers can choose the best time for them.

"We want caregivers to understand what we are doing to protect campers this summer, and still have a great time," said Savannah Donovan, Environmental Program Manager. She added, "We look forward to talking to everyone about the summer camps and answer their questions and address any concerns."
