Back in 1995, Urbana Park District raised funds to help build the PrairiePlay playground at Meadowbrook Park.

People purchased pavers to put in the ground around the border of the park. Since Urbana Park District is removing the playground and building a new structure, people have the chance to retrieve their pavers

Each paver averages 16”x16”x4” and weighs approximately 80 lbs. Please be sure you have help and a way to lift and carry your paver before signing up for retrieval.

The park district will help people retrieve their pavers on March 1 - 2. You must signup for a time slot and select your paver using the SignUpGenius form. Click on the link for more information and to sign up for a time to pick up the paver.

You can view an overhead photo of PrairiePlay that shows different zones where the pavers are located. This will help you and the park district retrieve your paver.

At the SignUpGenius form, you can view an overhead photo of PrairiePlay that shows different zones where the pavers are located and then individual zone maps to ID your paver.  These maps are listed and linked below the "Related Files" heading on the SignUpGenius website.

Call Keenan at (217) 344-9583 or email him at kjportis@urbanaparks.org with any further questions about retrieving PrairiePlay pavers.
