Kids can have a great time with friends, make new friends and learn beginning baseball skills this spring and summer when they play Urbana Park District T-Ball.
T-Ball is for kids ages 5-7 and runs from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., from May 10 to July 1. Kids sign up for either Monday/Wednesday dates or Tuesday/Thursday dates.
"There is a big need for volunteer coaches for our T-Ball teams," said Kyle Mills, Athletics Supervisor.
Volunteers can call Mills at (217) 255-8601 to find out more about coaching.
The park district will host T-Ball at:
"Practice days and sites are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis," Mills explained.
It costs $34 to register Urbana residents and $46 for non-residents. The park district has scholarship assistance for any in need.
