The Blair Park Playground is now Open!

The Blair Park playground is now open.

 

In the summer of 2019, the Urbana Park District worked with the community to create a new master plan for the park. In 2021, park development began thanks to a $400,000 state grant.

 

One of the main grant features is the new playground. It has two amenities new to the park district—a zip line and an inclusive spinner! It also contains separate structures for 2-5 and 5-12 year olds and four kinds of swings for all ages and abilities.
