Urbana Park District is offering free Play Days in the Park on select Thursdays this summer.

The Park District will be on hand for the special play days on:

• June 13 – Prairie Park
• June 27 – Chief Shemauger Park
• July 18 – King Park
• August 1 – Victory Park
• August 8 – Blair Park
• August 22 – Crestview Park

Each Play Day in the Park runs from 5:30 – 7 p.m.

“Everyone is invited to this free event,” said Ashley Dennis, Outreach and Wellness Coordinator. “We will provide games, crafts, music, popcorn and refreshments,” she added.

These events are a way for Urbana Park District to bring activities to neighborhoods and meet the community.

This is a great way to build community, have fun with neighbors and meet new friends,” Dennis said. “We look forward to seeing everyone at Play Days in the Park this summer.”
